Mr. Federico Casaccia Solari born in Rapallo, Italy, arrived in Chile at the age of 15, looking for opportunities for a new life in this part of the world.

In 1933, he started his own business and had the purpose of becoming a leader in the textile field. In 1959, his company became a Joint-Stock company.

At his decease his son Federico Casaccia Canessa took over, controlling, managing and fulfil his father's objective, producing the best blankets in the country.

Now he is Chairman of the Board and his son Federico Casaccia Basso, was named General Manager several years ago.

Currently, this privately owned and consolidated Company, keeps the traditional and high quality standards established by their ancestors and has begun expanding abroad.
